A generous author is supporting patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn.
Bob Booth has kindly donated 12 copies of his popular books to help entertain patients who are in the Discharge Lounge.
Mr Booth has raised hundreds of pounds for various charities over the last 10 years with his books, which look back at a bygone era of King’s Lynn. Countless readers have enjoyed reminiscing by flicking through his ten titles which include Memories of King’s Lynn, An Illustrated Street Directory of King’s Lynn 1933 and King’s Lynn Schools.
Among the titles which have been donated to the Discharge Lounge include his latest book, King’s Lynn in Colour Combined Volumes 2 and 3.
Mr Booth said: “I always like to help and I hope that the patients in the Discharge Lounge enjoy the books.”
Director of nursing Catherine Morgan has thanked Mr Booth for his donation.
She said: “As a trust we are aiming for excellence in all areas of our care. We are working hard to improve the experience of our patients in the Discharge Lounge and Mr Booth’s books are a kind contribution towards that. I would like to thank Mr Booth for his generosity which I’m sure will be appreciated by our patients.”
