Fairstead shopkeepers Benita and Nirav Desai donated £1541 on behalf of the ‘Making a Difference Locally’ Charity, who work alongside Nisa to raise money for local causes.
The money is raised through products, such as, Nisa’s own-label Heritage range which are a part of the making a Difference scheme, being purchased with a portion of the proceeds being put towards the donation fund.
Benita Desai the store owner said: “It’s great to be a part of the local community and to be able to support the local children and hospital, whether it’s for toys or equipment for the centre.”
Michelle Jeynes a staff nurse in Roxburgh said: “We are very grateful and it is a lovely surprise to receive the donation.”
