Men across West Norfolk will be a cut above the rest by supporting trainee hairdressers raise money for elderly patients at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The Hair and Beauty Department at the College of West Anglia are now taking bookings for its fundraising Gents Haircut event on Tuesday, May 9.
Students and their lecturers have decided to support the Excel Appeal, which is being specialist equipment such as falls prevention equipment to support older patients.
Teaching Support Officer Assessor Elaine Bayley said: “The Hair and Beauty department has supported a number of charities in the past but we wanted to raise money for a local charity.
“This event will not only help the next generation of hairdressers with their training but also support elderly people.”
Appointments are available from noon to 7pm on Tuesday, May 9, from 01553 815333. Prices are £5 or £3 for students.
