A couple have presented our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with £1,315 as appreciation of the staff’s treatment of their youngest daughter.
Gracie Pledger, who was born 13 weeks early, was transferred to the NICU unit at QEH where she spent 56 days.
Parents Ben and Leanne, of King’s Lynn, were so grateful for the top quality care which Gracie (5 months) received here that they organised a bingo fundraiser and Ben did a sponsored skydive.
Matron Carley Gibbens said: “We’re so pleased that Gracie is doing well and are very thankful to Ben and Leanne for their fundraising efforts.”
