A second-year student nurse is tackling her extreme fear of heights head on – with a sponsored skydive for charity.
Anna Davison (23) is a bank healthcare assistant within the Trust and recently completed a placement on the medical assessment unit.
On Friday, June 22, she is determined to do the 10,000ft tandem skydive at Beccles to raise money for Make-A-Wish UK.
Anna, who studies at University of East Anglia in Norwich and whose hometown is Hunstanton, said: “I’m doing this because I’m terrified of heights and wanted to overcome that.
“Even watching videos of things high up makes me sweaty and nervous – the thought of it terrifies me. But I will do this. I’m the sort of person that if I put my mind to it I will do it.”
Anna hopes to raise at least £450 for the charity, which creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
She said: “Working in healthcare, you see the impact that serious illness can have on children and I think this is a really nice charity to give to.”
