West Norfolk Breast Care Unit at QEH has received a donation of £526 from King’s Lynn Squash Club.
John Durant, who is chairman of the club, said: “It was decided at a recent committee meeting the club should make donations to five local good cause charities, as the club’s funds had been dormant for approximately six years.’’
The breast care unit is the first of the chosen beneficiaries to receive a donation.
John, his wife Helen, who is club secretary, and Team QEH staff member Mike Waldron, who is also the squash club treasurer, presented the money to lead breast cancer nurse Angela Holford.
