A patient at QEH’s Macmillan Care and Treatment Centre has presented £250 to it.
The money was collected by Dorothy Beales in lieu of presents for her 80th birthday in April. Mrs Beales, of Waterside, King’s Lynn, held a party at the Freebridge Community Housing development.
She said: “This money was a way of me saying ‘thank you’ to the breast care unit for my treatment.”
