A music event at The Sandboy in Bawsey will fundraise for dementia patients at QEH.
The pub is holding an 80s and 90s afternoon with DJ Carl Simon on Sunday, July 15 from 4pm to 8pm. Ska and two tone music will also feature.
There will be a dancefloor area on the patio, outside catering and an outside bar, as well as the main bar being open.
Chef Bruce Ingle: “This is an offshoot of the summer soul jams we have on bank holidays to fundraise for charity. We’re looking forward to a great time.”
Landlord Myron Brown and landlady Kat Alexander have both lost relatives to dementia. The event is free entry and all donations via a bucket collection will go to the hospital’s Dementia Charitable Fund.
