Actor, author and science communicator Stephen McGann, who conferred the badges and certificates on the 121 Queen’s Nurses at the event, praised the nurses for their commitment to patient care in the community.

Sara, who is employed by Norfolk Community Health and Care Trust, said: “I hadn’t really considered the enormity of being awarded until I was actually seated in the room with so many inspiring people. I was also more than happy to receive my award from Stephen McGann.”
