A fundraising campaign has given a wheel boost to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn by raising £5,060.
The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes King’s Lynn and District Province donated £4,360 to The Wheely Big Appeal and £700 for The Falls Support Appeal.
The money for The Wheely Big Appeal has helped to buy three standard and two bariatric wheelchairs for the benefit of patients, their families and carers.
The cash has come from fundraising events held by the Buffaloes throughout the year, including raffles ad the appeals were chosen because relatives of the brothers had received treatment at the hospital.
The cheques were received by the hospital’s Chairman Steve Barnett and Chief Executive Caroline Shaw.
Mr Barnett said: “Thank you so much for coming in this morning and for raising this substantial amount of money, which is going to help families here. Many, many thanks to all of you. It is so kind of you.”
