Covid-19 statement from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn

Caroline Shaw, Chief Executive for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn, said: “The deaths of three of our patients, who had tested positive for COVID-19, have been confirmed today –  a woman in her 60s and a man and a women in their 80s. Our thoughts and condolences are with their families at this difficult time.”

The Trust, Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and NHS Improvement will not be giving out any further information on these patients.

The media are asked to respect the wishes of the families, and the interests of staff at the hospital to avoid any disruption to operational services.
