Recognise exceptional care at Team QEH Awards

Have you received exceptional care worth celebrating? The Queen Elizabeth King’s Lynn Foundation Trust (QEH) is delighted to announce the launch of this year’s Team QEH awards – which are open and ready to receive your nominations.

Designed to recognise the hard work and excellent care provided by staff and teams across the hospital these awards are your chance to thank the staff who may have cared for you or a loved one. If you have received exceptional care from an individual, been supported by an amazing team or witnessed outstanding kindness during a visit – these awards are your chance to recognise that.

For the first time, all categories in the 2023 awards are open for public nominations. So please – tell us who you’d nominate as your shining star! This year’s 11 categories are:

Exceptional Quality of Care Award
Clinical Team of the Year Award
Non-Clinical Team of the Year Award
One to Watch Award
Leader of the Year Award
Outstanding Achievement in Innovation
The Kindness Award
The Wellness Award
The Fairness Award
The John Voaden Volunteer of the Year Award
Unsung Hero Award

All nominations for each category go forward to a panel for a shortlisting process. The finalists for each category are then invited to attend a celebration evening where the winners will be announced.

Alice Webster, Chief Executive at QEH, said: “We know our staff make a difference each and every day. The Team QEH awards are an opportunity to recognise that and celebrate the exceptional care and compassion we see everyday across out Trust.

“Faced with exceptionally challenging circumstances over the past few years everyone at Team QEH continues to go above and beyond to provide the best possible care for our community.

“We’d love to hear from as many of you as possible so please – tell us who your award goes to and help us celebrate our shining stars.”

Nominations close on Friday 9 June 2023, click here to see all categories and to make your nomination.
