Pippa Street is set to be the new Chief Nurse at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn (QEH) from this August.
A compassionate nurse leader with extensive experience across a wide range of NHS organisations, Pippa will join the Trust’s Board of Directors.
She was appointed by CEO Alice Webster and her arrival will further strengthen the executive team complementing recent substantive appointments including Medical Director Dr Rebecca Martin, and Chief Operating Officer Simon Illingworth.
Alice commented: “I am really looking forward to Pippa joining us. I know she will wish to continue our journey of continuous improvement and delivery of excellent patient care. ”
Pippa will join The QEH from Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where she has been Deputy Director of Quality and Safety Governance / Patient Safety Specialist for the past 18 months. Pippa has a fundamental belief of person-centred care, and compassionate leadership values, which she explains has guided her vision, drive, belief, and commitment to take forward the ambitions of all organisations she has worked in.
Pippa said: “My commitment and professional drive to undertake the Chief Nurse role will provide me with a fantastic opportunity to work collegiately with the Executive team and Trust Board to continue the innovation and transformational journey of The QEH.”
