The local team at Enterprise Mobility, which provides car hire services for hospital staff, also organised a visit from BBC Children in Need’s Pudsey Bear last November. Pudsey toured the children’s wards, bringing smiles to young patients and their families during their hospital stay.
The team were keen to learn more about the hospital’s charity, which funds advanced medical equipment, research, training and facilities for both patients and staff.
Inspired to do more, the Enterprise Mobility team awarded a grant to The QEH’s Rudham Ward, enhancing the care provided to young patients.
Warren Hallam, Strategic Account Manager for Enterprise Mobility, said: “We are delighted to contribute to enhancing children’s experiences during their stay at The QEH. Giving back to the communities where Enterprise Mobility operates has always been a guiding principle and top priority for us.”
Samantha Taylor, Charity Manager at The QEH, expressed her gratitude, saying: “A massive thank you to Warren and his team. Donations like this make a huge difference to our young patients during their stay at The QEH.”
The QEHKL Charity exists to support those receiving care and working at the hospital, enhancing patient, carer and staff experiences through supporting projects, activities, and training over and above that provided through NHS funding.
Ends.
