QEH hosts town-centre wellbeing event supporting those affected by cancer

The QEH is excited to announce its first-ever town-centre wellbeing event, aimed at supporting individuals affected by cancer.

This free event, taking place on Friday, 4 October from 12 noon to 4pm at The Place, 23 Conduit Street, King’s Lynn, is open to everyone and will feature a range of guest speakers, wellbeing activities, and refreshments.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and accessing local support services. The event will feature expert speakers including QEH’s CEO, Alice Webster, and representatives from Alive West Norfolk, and Ask Lily.

Each speaker will offer valuable insights into how to improve physical and mental wellbeing, especially for those affected by cancer.

The hospital’s charity will also be attending the event to showcasing some of the amazing work it does to support the patients and their families.

Alice Webster shared her enthusiasm for the event, saying: “We are thrilled to collaborate with local organisations to provide this opportunity to our community.

“By promoting awareness of wellbeing, we hope to support individuals and families navigating cancer and inspire a healthier way of living.”

Alongside informative talks, visitors will have access to health and fitness advice, local resource information, and an array of refreshments to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
