QEH healthcare heroes announced as finalists in staff awards

Today 36 incredible healthcare workers and teams who care for patients 365 days a year have been announced as finalists in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn’s (QEH) annual awards.

The Team QEH Awards, sponsored by PA Consulting and supported by the QEHKL Charity, are a chance to shine a spotlight on NHS unsung heroes, innovators, leaders, teams and volunteers.

This year an astounding 650 nominations were received across 12 categories from patients, relatives and colleagues.

Chris Bown, Interim Executive Managing Director at The QEH, said: “In the NHS we have some incredible people working tirelessly every day and putting our patients first.

“Thank you to those who took the time to nominate more than 650 colleagues and teams. I know it means a great deal to each person and team to know what a difference they make.

“Everyone who was nominated and all finalists should be so very proud, a huge congratulations to you all.”
