QEH Community Maternity Service to relocate to new health hub

From Monday 23 February The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) King’s Lynn Maple Midwifery Hub will relocate to the King’s Lynn Health Hub on Cambridge Road, Off Nar Ouse Way.

Moving from their current base in the St Augustine’s Centre on Columbia Way the team, who provide a range of maternity services including antenatal and postnatal clinics, will be seeing all patients in this new purpose-built health care unit.

The King’s Lynn Health Hub, which opened in 2025, is a modern, accessible, digitally enabled facility where residents can access a range of health and care services in one place.

This new base will give the Maple and Poplar Community teams a spacious environment, purpose-built healthcare base to see families, with dedicated clinic rooms and office space.

Pippa Street, QEH Chief Nurse, said: “This move to a new facility will give patients and staff access to purpose-built clinical space to allow our community-based Maple Midwifery Hub the space it needs to continue to provide a wide range of maternity services in a local setting.

“This move to enhance our community-based facilities is in line with the Government’s 10 year health plan for the NHS and will benefit both the families using this service and our QEH teams working out in the community.”

The address for the hub is: King’s Lynn Health Hub, Cambridge Road, Off Nar Ouse Way, King’s Lynn, PE30 5FR

There is ample free parking available at the Hub and the facility is easily accessible by public transport.
