Emergency and life-preserving care will continue at The QEH during industrial action by resident doctors (formerly known as junior doctors). The strike will take place from 7am on Wednesday 17 December to 7am on Monday 22 December.
Being in hospital over Christmas can be challenging for anyone, but especially for children and their families. Thanks to the continued generosity of the local community, children spending Christmas at The QEH will once again receive a little joy on Christmas morning, as more than 300 presents make their way to the children’s ward.
