With approximately 500 inpatient beds spread across 22 core wards, we provide a mix of critical, intensive, and high-dependency care, along with general surgery, medicine, maternity paediatrics, and neonatal care. During 2024/25 more than 25,000 day cases were performed and more than 31,500 inpatients were treated.

Employing over 4,000 full-time and part-time staff, as well as volunteers, we are one of the region’s largest employers, dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care. We work in close collaboration with a wide range of NHS services, including primary care teams, community health services, and other acute hospitals.

Our commitment to ensuring patients receive the right care in the right place is reflected in our active involvement in the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System. We are fully dedicated to working with our regional partners to continually improve care and services for the communities we serve.
