Visitors are not permitted in the hospital with the following exceptions: One person can accompany a child or a vulnerable patient - including those with learning disabilities, autism or dementia - to A&E or an outpatient appointment. A partner can attend a 12 or 20 week antenatal scan and when their partner is in labour (including induction). One parent/carer can visit a child on a children’s ward. One person can accompany a patient attending a cancer clinic appointment. Only one person can visit a patient receiving end-of-life care, in any 24-hour period, except in exceptional circumstances. All visitors must wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is reintroducing visitor restrictions in its Emergency Department (A&E) and the wider hospital as a precautionary measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
