For many people death can be a taboo subject but an event at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is hoping to break down those barriers.
A new appeal is being launched at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn’s to offer additional support to patients, many of whom are in their dying days.
The Trust is asking for volunteers for a ward companion scheme, to be launched during the national Dying Matters Week, starting on Tuesday, May 10. A pilot scheme has already proved a success, appreciated by patients, families, carers and hospital staff alike.
