To mark Stoptober, The QEH is proud to launch a new tobacco dependency treatment pathway to support inpatients in quitting smoking during their hospital stay – and beyond.
A dedicated team of 28 healthcare workers at The QEH have successfully completed a 26-mile charity walk for the hospital’s specialist end-of-life unit.
The QEH is bidding a fond farewell to Dr Lorraine de Gray, who will retire on 30 September 2025, following an outstanding 35-year career in the NHS – including the last 18 years at the Trust.
A determined group of 28 staff from The QEH – along with their family and friends – are taking on an inspiring 26-mile charity walk from Swaffham to Holme-next-the-Sea to raise funds for the hospital’s Peddars Way Unit
The QEH is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Unit – a service that has already helped more than 3,000 older and frail patients receive timely, tailored care closer to home.
