Plans for a new hospital for King’s Lynn have taken a significant step forward today as it was confirmed that the New QEH is exempt from the Government’s review of the New Hospital Programme (NHP).
Residents from across the local area are being invited to hear more about plans and the work taking place to bring a new state-of-the-art new hospital to the area by 2030 at a series of public event being held in October and November.
The QEH is proud to announce that it has been rated ‘outstanding’ in the National Neonatal Audit Programme, a prestigious recognition that underscores the hospital’s commitment to providing exceptional care for some of the most vulnerable newborns.
From noise cancelling headphones, to reclining chairs and motorised trollies, the QEHKL Charity is significantly boosting patient and staff experience thanks to targeted funding of more than £12,500.
Last month a group of The QEH’s Governors saw first-hand the importance and fun in keeping patients active in hospital.
