At 80 years old, Jenny Baker has defied the expectations of both age and illness, turning to ballet and chair aerobics to boost her energy and confidence after being diagnosed with a rare, incurable form of blood cancer.
Just in time for Christmas two new all-weather patient buggies have arrived at The QEH helping patients get to their appointments.
The QEH patient buggy service is stepping up a gear with the arrival of two new all-weather vehicles and a new extended service taking patients to more areas across the hospital site.
It was celebrations all round as the hospital’s garden club – The Courtyard Gardeners – were awarded silver in the Sandringham Flower Show’s Garden Clubs Competition.
A group of green fingered NHS workers who have made it their mission to brighten up a courtyard at The QEH are heading to The Sandringham Flower Show next week to showcase their skill.
