A couple celebrating 50 years of marriage have donated £535 to QEH’s children’s ward.
Ken and Heather Hawes, of Narborough, had a party to jointly mark their golden wedding anniversary and Heather’s 70th birthday. Eighty guests attended the event at Pentney Country Club in March.
The couple asked for donations in lieu of presents and chose Rudham Ward as the beneficiary.
