A second wheelchair sponsored by King’s Lynn and District Provincial Grand Lodge of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes has been officially presented.

The £800 item was purchased as part of the Trust’s Wheely Big Appeal for 30 new indoor wheelchairs. A sponsorship panel on the rear highlights its dedication to the memory of Frank Jacklin, a member of the lodge for 55 years.
Frank’s son, Bro Paul Jacklin, said: “Dad was passionate about the Buffaloes and was a founder member of the Century Lodge. He just used to enjoy meeting people.”
Provinical Grand Primo, Bro Chris Framingham, said: “Frank was a great Buffalo and a real character. That was why it was fitting that we dedicated the second wheelchair to him.”
The Wheely Big Appeal completed in April but remains the chosen charity of Mr Framingham until next January and fundraising continues. The lodge is aiming for its third wheelchair purchase to be suitable for bariatric patients.
