Breast cancer patients will benefit from the hundreds of pounds raised by a West Norfolk group.
The Friendship Group is made-up of 10 ladies who meet each month to enjoy lunch or refreshments together.
Over the last year, the group has raised £790 during its regular meetings which has been donated to the West Norfolk Breast Care Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Group member Mrs Jasmine Fulcher said: “We began meeting in 2006 and have raised around £10,000 in that time for a number of good causes.
“Last year we decided to support the Breast Unit and its good works.”
Mrs Fulcher presented the money to Senior Breast Care Specialist Nurse Angela Holford.
