COVID-19 statement from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn

Caroline Shaw Chief Executive for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, said “We can confirm today that a further ten patients – nine men and a woman aged between 62 and 90 – who had tested positive for COVID-19 have sadly died while being cared for at our hospital. On behalf of the Trust, I would like to offer condolences to their families and loved ones at this difficult time.”

The QEH, DHSC, NHS England and NHS Improvement will not be giving out any further information on these patients.

The media are asked to respect the wishes of the families, and the interests of staff at the hospital to avoid any disruption to operational services.
