COVID-19 statement from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn

Caroline Shaw Chief Executive for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn, said “We can confirm today that a further 11 patients – nine men aged between 76 and 93 and two women aged 90 and 92 – who had tested positive for COVID-19 have sadly died while being cared for at our hospital. Our thoughts are with their families and loved ones during this difficult time.”

The QEH, DHSC, NHS England and NHS Improvement will not be giving out any further information on these patients.

The media are asked to respect the wishes of the families, and the interests of staff at the hospital to avoid any disruption to operational services.
