Caroline Shaw, Chief Executive for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn, said: “Sadly, the deaths of five of our patients, who had tested positive for COVID-19, has been confirmed today.
“Two women, one in their 90s and another in her 50s have been confirmed and three men in their 70s and 80s have also been announced.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with their families at this very sad time.”

The Trust, Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and NHS Improvement will not be giving out any further information on these patients.
The media are asked to respect the wishes of the families, and the interests of staff at the hospital to avoid any disruption to operational services.
