Relocation of hospital Dermatology Department to Health Hub

The Dermatology Department at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn (The QEH) will be relocating to the King’s Lynn Health Hub from Thursday 4 June.
The QEH’s Dermatology team

Moving from their current base in the main hospital this team, who provide expert care for all skin conditions, will be seeing patients in this new purpose-built unit on Cambridge Road, off Nar Ouse Way.

The King’s Lynn Health Hub is a modern, accessible, digitally enabled facility where residents can access a range of health and care services in one place. This relocation brings this essential service into the community and to a purpose fitted space for this specialist service.

The Dermatology team consists of 19 members of staff and has capacity to see more than 400 new patients each month.

This new base will give the team a spacious environment to treat patients with dedicated clinic and procedure rooms as well as office space.

Dawn Collins, Interim Chief Nurse at The QEH, said: “This relocation of our Dermatology team to a new facility will give patients and staff access to purpose-built clinical space to allow the team to continue its expert care for all skin conditions.”

Carly West Burnham, Director of Strategy and Integration at The QEH, added: “This move to enhance our community-based facilities is in line with the Government’s 10-year health plan for the NHS and will benefit both the patients using this service and our QEH teams working out in the community.”

Patients with forthcoming appointments will be notified in writing of this change of location.

The address for the hub is: King’s Lynn Health Hub, Cambridge Road, Off Nar Ouse Way, King’s Lynn, PE30 5FR

There is ample free parking available at the Hub and the facility is easily accessible by public transport.
