Youngsters and older patients at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital have been tucking into Easter Eggs thanks to generous groups in the community.
Members of the 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards took part in a challenging walk with staff members of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn in support of The Trusts’ Roxburgh Children Centre and have so far raised over £3,250.
The 40 mile walk started at Robertson Barracks, in Swanton Morley at 4.00am. The team followed the Nar Valley way all the way along to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where they arrived at 5.20pm. Along with the military personnel, staff from the hospital’s pediatric team and senior management carried a stretcher full of Easter eggs, which were delivered to The Trust – by the Easter Bunny.
