A breast cancer survivor who was once a patient at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is now helping others rebuild confidence during cancer treatment, drawing on her own lived experience to support wellbeing sessions at the hospital’s Macmillan Wellbeing and Support Centre.
Nancy Williams-Eley, student midwife at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (The QEH), has been recognised as the first winner of a prestigious national award for her outstanding contribution to maternity care.

An experienced nurse whose colleagues say she “makes coming to work a pleasure” and “embodies everything a nurse should stand for” has been recognised in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Living Our Values Award.
Three nurses from the Peddars Way end of life unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), King’s Lynn, have been honoured with a Living Our Values Outstanding Contribution award after being nominated by a bereaved family who described them as “three earth angels”.
